Expansion Joint

The clear substitute for conventional methods to arresting the expansion & movements of high rise & lengthy buildings. Expansion movement joints are made of rigid aluminium casing on the outer with interlocking mechanism embedded with flexible Neoprene insertions that act against angular movements like expansion & contraction associated with climatic changes. Neoprene is a synthetic rubber based component added with natural rubber so as to provide its inherent properties of absolving & controlling expansion movements within permissible levels. available in Black and Grey shades.

Expansion joint, The sizes are available and designed as per the structural requirement are in 10x25,15x25, 20x25, and 50x50mm sizes and standard design profiles are sizes, 25x25,25x50 others upon request in bulk quantities.(Black/Grey)

Floor expansion (Lateral movement joint)

Expansion profile made of Neoprene strip firmly fixed with anodized aluminium flanges both side acts against the lateral movements in floor area. It totally eliminate the surface cracks in wider floor area.

Separator profile made of anodized aluminium; differentiate the wall and roof junctions gives perfect end finish to the extended wall tiling.

The usage of profiles not only gives it that much more durability but also adds that extra bit to an appealing ambience.

Isolation Pads (Earthquake Resistant)

The isolation pads available in neoprene and EPDM sheet form 2MX1M Sheets having thickness of 25mm.The sheet can be supplied in to customized sizes also, and as per the required specification.

For low rise buildings base isolation techniques are extremely popular. The structure above ground is separated from the foundation by separating roller/pads between the foundation and the building .These isolators allow the structure to move independently of the shifting ground below thereby effectively isolating it from the ground motion. Base isolation however is suitable for only low rise buildings up to 2-3 floors that much have a larger spread than their heights.

In India the seismic codeIS-1893 was last revised in the year2002 after the Gujarat earthquake.
